Entombed- Clandestine Live (Threeman Recordings 2019)

"Clandestine Live" to wyjątkowe wydawnictwo. Zawiera ono zapis koncertu jaki dało Entombed 12 listopada 2016 roku w Hali koncertowej w szwedzkim Malmo. Ów wydarzenie to zagrany po całości album "Clandestine" w interpretacji orkiestry symfonicznej, a potem w klasycznej wersji przez zespół. To tak naprawdę pierwszy od lat powrót Entombed do swoich starych materiałów i do niemal oryginalnego składu. Za perkusją zasiadł Nicke Andersson, za gitarami pojawili się oczywiście Alex Hellid oraz Ulf Cederlund. Na wokalu zagościł natomiast Robert Andersson (znany z Morbus Chron), a za struny basu szarpał Edvin Aftonfalk (również były członek Morbus Chron). Oczywiście materiału z "Clandestine" nie będę wam tu opisywał, bo raz, że kiedyś już to robiłem, a dwa, że po prostu go znacie, zapewne na wylot.
Niniejsze wydanie pomija występ z udziałem orkiestry, a upamiętnia jedynie występ samego zespołu. Powiem wam szczerze, że kapitalnie było to usłyszeć, zobaczyć udostępniony na Youtube materiał video i widzieć chłopaków w tak świetnej formie. I co więcej, brak Rosengerga i Petrova wcale nie jest odczuwalny. Robert i Edvin sprostali wyzwaniu perfekcyjnie. Materiał został zagrany perfekcyjnie, brzmi świetnie, no i czuć tę energię. Po odegraniu całego albumu z "Clandestine" i gromkich brawach, Entombed poczęstowało nas bisem w postaci "Left Hand Path", klasycznej już kompozycji tytułowej ze swojego debiutu. Nie mogli dokonać lepszego wyboru na finał koncertu.
Już myślę, że wiecie iż zbytnio za koncertówkami nie przepadam, ale takie jak te pokazują, że są tzw. wyjątki od reguły. Ten album jest perfekcyjny i przenosi słuchacza do lat świetności Entombed, pokazuje kto to wszystko niegdyś w Szwecji zaczął. Nostalgia i klimat niesamowite! Bardzo bym sobie życzył aby Entombed nagrało w tym składzie jeszcze jeden Death Metalowy album. Niniejsza płyta rodzi pewne wyobrażenia i śmiem twierdzić, że to by było coś!

"Clandestine Live" is a unique release. It contains the recording of the concert that Entombed gave on November 12, 2016 in the concert hall in Malmo, Sweden. This event is the whole "Clandestine" album played live in the interpretation of the symphony orchestra, and then in the standard version by the band. This is really the first Entombed return to their old materials in years and almost original line-up. Behind the drums, of course, we have Nicke Andersson, Alex Hellid and Ulf Cederlund appeared on guitars. Robert Andersson (known from Morbus Chron) appeared on vocals, and Edvin Aftonfalk (also a former member of Morbus Chron) pulled the bass strings. Obviously, I will not describe the material from "Clandestine" here, because I did it already two years ago, and secondly, you just know it, probably by hard.
This edition omits the performance with the participation of the orchestra, and commemorates only the performance of the band itself. I will tell you honestly that it was great to hear it, to see the video material available on Youtube and to see the guys playing such a good gig. And what's more, the lack of Rosengerg and Petrov is not noticeable at all. Robert and Edvin met the challenge perfectly. The material was played in such a way that it brings back the past, sounds great, and you can feel this energy. After playing the entire "Clandestine" album and thunderous applause, Entombed offered us an encore in the form of "Left Hand Path", the classic title composition from their debut. They could not make a better choice for the gran finale!
I already think that you know that I do not like live records that much, but such as these show that there are so-called exceptions to the rule. This album is perfect and moves the listener to Entombed's glorious years, it shows who started it all back in the days in Sweden. Nostalgia and amazing atmosphere! I would very much wish that Entombed would make another Death Metal album with this line-up. This CD gives us some ideas and I dare say that it would be something!
