Sacrilegium - Ritus Transitorius (Werewolf Promotion 2019)

Sacrilegium powraca z kolejnym albumem, co prawda już bez Nantura na pokładzie, ale za to w pięknym stylu. Nic nie wskazuje na to, aby ich sztuka miała ulec zmianie czy się zachwiać. Suclagus pewnie dowodzi na swoim okręcie i jak najbardziej dorównuje wokalnie swojemu koledze, którego w tej kwestii zastąpił. "Ritus Transitorius" to w sporym stopniu dzieło zakorzenione w Black Metalu lat 90., ale niepozbawione świeżości i tego jedynego w swoim rodzaju klimatu, z którego Sacrilegium od zawsze słynęło. Spotyka się tu stare z nowym. Już od pierwszych dźwięków każdej z 8 zawartych tu kompozycji słyszę wyraźne echa dawnych dokonań chociażby Darkthrone, a i ich własnej muzyki z czasów kultowej płyty Wicher (najlepszym przykładem są takie kompozycje jak "Ritual", "Zapomniana Potęga" czy "Przejście"). Jednym słowem - stara szkoła podnosi łeb! Nawet jakieś drobne elementy Death oraz Thrash Metalu są tu miejscami powplatane. Aż mi się morda cieszy, jak widzę, że wciąż można tak misternie operować dawnymi standardami, przenosząc je w nową erę, nowe brzmienie i pokazując, że ich czas jeszcze nie minął i długo nie minie. Już na poprzednim krążku zespół udowodnił, że odrodził się niczym feniks z popiołów, wciąż tworząc Black Metal na najwyższym poziomie. Nawet nowy skład zespołu tego nie zmienił, a wręcz przeciwnie. Nadał machinie Sacrilegium dodatkowego przyspieszenia. Oni nie muszą już niczego i nikomu udowadniać. "Ritus Transitorius" swoim mistycyzmem i oddaniem dawnym tradycjom gatunku oznajmia wszem wobec, że Sacrilegium długo jeszcze nie złoży broni, a nowy album jest potężnym, bezkompromisowym strzałem, jak to miało miejsce przy "Anima Lucifera". Sięgajcie zatem po "Ritus Transitorius" i rozkoszujcie się odgłosami bestii, którą spuściła z łańcuchów jedna z najbardziej zasłużonych hord naszej rodzimej sceny BM!

Suclagus confidently commands his ship and vocally matches his colleague, whom he replaced in this matter. "Ritus Transitorius" is to a large extent a work rooted in the Black Metal of the 90s, but not does not lack freshness and that unique climate of which Sacrilegium has always been famous for. Old meets new here. From the first sounds of each of the 8 compositions contained here I hear clear echoes of ancient achievements of even Darkthrone, and their own music from the time of the cult album Wicher (the best examples are compositions such as "Ritual", "Forgotten Power" or "Passage"). In a word - the old school raises its head! Even some minor elements of Death and Thrash Metal are hidden here. I'm happy when I see that they can still manipulate old standards so intricately, transferring them into a new era, a new sound and showing that their time has not yet passed and will not pass long. Already on the previous album, the band proved that they were reborn as a phoenix from the ashes, still creating Black Metal at the highest level. Even the new line-up of the band has not changed that, on the contrary. It has given Sacrilegium an extra boost. They don't have to prove anything to anyone anymore. "Ritus Transitorius" with its mysticism and devotion to the old traditions of the genre, announces to everyone that Sacrilegium will not lay down their arms, and that the new album is a powerful, uncompromising strike, as it happened with "Anima Lucifera". So reach for "Ritus Transitorius" and enjoy the sounds of the beast that was unleashed by one of the most distinguished hordes of our native BM scene!
