Ta młoda śląska ekipa to reprezentanci kultu oldschoolowego grania. Dokładnie to Black/Thrashu w stylu takich grup jak Destruction, Sodom czy Living Death - oczywiście mowa tu o wczesnych dokonaniach tych zespołów. Słychać w ich graniu też naszego kultowego Kata, z czasów debiutanckiego albumu "666". Kierując się słowami Darkthrone z "Raised on Rock" - modern Metal they don't give a fuck! Oczywistą sprawą jest fakt, że takich zespołów jak Black Hosts jest na scenie na pęczki, ale nie wszystkie emanują tą samą energią i jakością swojej muzyki. Tej grupie tych atrybutów nie brakuje. Potrafią swoim graniem przenieść nas do czasów, w których wspomniane zespoły dopiero co zaczynały swoją drogę ku wielkości; czasów, kiedy powstawały podwaliny wszelkiej diabelskiej i ekstremalnej muzyki. Może brzmienie płyty pozostawia nieco do życzenia, jest ciut płaskie, odrobinę niedopracowane, ale za to surowe i klimatyczne. Czarne Zastępy atakują nas dziesięcioma hymnami, które nijak nie przystają do obecnej doby cyfryzacji i wymuskanych produkcji. To nieco ponad pół godziny najczystszej metalowej kanonady ze złowieszczymi wokalami i riffami ostrymi niczym żylety. Tylko tyle i aż tyle, ale tak to ma właśnie wyglądać. Ja biję brawo za solidnie wykonaną robotę, dobre wzorce i klimat. Ja tymczasem kibicuję zespołowi, a Wam polecam zapoznać się z "Time of Eternal Torture", przypomną się Wam takie dzieła jak "In the Sign of Evil" czy "Vengeance of Hell"!

This young Silesian band are representatives of the cult of oldschool playing. Black/Thrash in the style of such groups like Destruction, Sodom or Living Death - of course, we are talking about the early achievements of these bands. You can also hear our cult Kat from their debut album "666". Guided by the words of Darkthrone from "Raised on Rock" - modern Metal they don't give a fuck! It's obvious that there are a lot of bands such as Black Hosts, but not all of them represent the same energy and quality of their music. This group does not lack these atributes. They can move us to the times when previously mentioned bands were just beginning their journey towards greatness, the times when the foundations of all devilish and extreme music were formed. Maybe the sound of the record leaves something to argue about, it is a bit flat, a bit underdone, but it is raw and atmospheric. Black Hosts attack us with ten hymns, which do not match the present era of digitalization and polished productions. It's just over half an hour of the purest metal cannonade with ominous vocals and razor-sharp riffs. Only this and that's all, but this is how it should look like. I applaud for solid work, inspirations and atmosphere. Meanwhile, I support the band, and I recommend you familiarize yourself with "Time of Eternal Torture", you will be reminded of such works as "In the Sign of Evil" or "Vengeance of Hell"!
