Blut Aus Nord - Hallucinogen (Debemur Morti 2019)

To ostatnia recenzja w 2019 roku. Niestety, nie udało mi się napisać o wszystkich albumach, o których chciałem, nie wszystkie udało się nabyć czy otrzymać do recenzji. Brak czasu i obowiązki nie pozwoliły na więcej. Niemniej większość płyt, na których mi zależało, pojawiły się na blogu. Nie może też zabraknąć najnowszego Blut Aus Nord, tym bardziej, że pod koniec grudnia pojawi się w podsumowaniu.
Trzeba już na początku przyznać, że to pierwszy taki album w dorobku Blut Aus Nord, mimo całej różnorodności w ich dyskografii. Fundamentem jest tu Black Metal i ambientowe formy na których tle maluje się cały muzyczny pejzaż "Hallucinogen". Przede wszystkim jest to album majestatyczny, niesamowicie przestrzenny, wybrzmiewający głośnym echem (chyba jeden z najbardziej nasiąkniętych tymi cechami spośród tych, które w swoim życiu słyszałem), a jednocześnie tak przystępny w odbiorze. Astralny, hipnotyczno-transowy klimat dominuje nad całą płytą. Nie brakuje tu ciekawych, dających się zapamiętać melodii wygrywanych przez ściany gitar. Z jeden strony, każda z tych kompozycji nabiera nośności, pełna jest dynamiki, energii, a z drugiej równie dobrze może być odbierana jako twór mantryczny, o charakterze kontemplacyjnym. Może to też zasługa tego, że nie ma tu tak wielu wokali (to album przede wszystkim instrumentalny), są raczej na drugim planie w charakterze chórów czy inkantacji. Zatem, jak sami widzicie, "Hallucinogen" pełen jest sprzeczności, ale sprzeczności jakimś cudem współgrających ze sobą, pięknie współgrających, co czyni ten album tak wyjątkowym. Utwory ułożone są jak dobra fabuła - nie brak nastroju, zwrotów akcji, niespodzianek i charakterystycznych elementów. Blut Aus Nord zapewnili tu chwile mocniejszych uderzeń, klimatycznych wyciszeń, melodyjnych pasaży oraz wycieczek w mrok - istny róg obfitości artystycznej. Mogę szczerze powiedzieć, że udało im się po raz kolejny stworzyć nie tylko coś nowego, ale i dzieło praktycznie bez skazy, kawał solidnej, spójnej muzyki, której słucha się z zapartym tchem od początku do końca!

This is the last review in 2019. Unfortunately, I could not write about all the albums I wanted, not all of them were purchased or received for review. Lack of time and obligations did not allow for more. However, most of the albums I cared about appeared on the blog. The latest Blut Aus Nord cannot be missed, especially since it will appear in the summary at the end of December.
First of all, it must be admitted that this is the first such album among the works of Blut Aus Nord, despite all the diversity in their discography. The foundation here is Black Metal and ambient forms, on which the whole musical landscape of "Hallucinogen" is being painted. First of all, it is a majestic, incredibly spacious material, resounding with loud echo (probably one of the most saturated with these features among those that I have heard in my life), and at the same time so accessible. Astral, hypnotic/trance atmosphere dominates the entire work. There is no lack of interesting, memorable melodies played by the wall of guitars. On the one hand, each of these compositions acquires a carrying capacity, is full of dynamics, energy, and on the other hand, it may well be perceived as of mantric, contemplative character. Maybe it is also due to the fact that there are not so many vocals (this is primarily an instrumental album), they are rather in the background as choirs or incantations. So, as you can see, "Hallucinogen" is full of contradictions, but contradictions that somehow interact with each other, interact beautifully, which makes this album so special. The songs are arranged like a good story - there is no lack of mood, twists and turns, surprises and characteristic elements. Blut Aus Nord provided here moments of stronger hits, climatic slower parts, melodic passages and trips into the darkness - a real cornucopia. I can honestly say that they have once again created not only something new, but also a virtually flawless work, a piece of solid, coherent music that you listen to with a bated breath from beginning to the end!
