Na początku myślałem, że po latach odzywa się kętrzyńska Nawia, która miała na koncie tylko jedno demo i słuch po zespole zaginął. Ale nie. Nawia, to nowy zespół, o którym właściwie nic nie wiadomo. Na płycie na ma podanego składu. Co, gdzie, kiedy, też nie wiadomo. Tylko logo grupy, czerń i teksty utworów. "Do Krwi" to czysty nienawistny black metal o pogańskim zabarwieniu. Świerzy, ale odnoszący się mocno i wyraźnie do tradycji polskiej sceny połowy lat 90. Utwory powstały w oparciu o klasyczne standardy, ale dają nam nowe doświadczenia w tymże zakresie, nową jakoś z przeszłością między wierszami. Kompozycje uderzają w nas z furią, riffy tną niczym brzytwa, w tle dają o sobie znać złowieszcze, acz majestatyczne klawiszowe elementy. Tekstowo jest iście w dawnych klimatach, czyli pogaństwo i mrok. Najbardziej spodobał mi się utwór "Przed Świtem w Cień". Zaskoczyło mnie jak już od pierwszych chwil usłyszałem tak wyraźne inspiracje wczesnym Emperor i Graveland z takich płyt jak "Carpathian Wolves" czy "The Celtic Winter". Klimat niesamowity! Płyta trwa niespełna pół godziny i mamy tu zaledwie cztery numery, ale za to jakie! Materiał jest zagrany z pasją i duchem black metalu. Każda jego minuta to esencja tej sztuki. Ciekaw jest kto stoi za tym projektem i liczę, że tylko na tym materiale nie poprzestaną. Słuchać, bo jest to cholernie dobre!

At first, I thought that after years Nawia from Kętrzyn (Poland) is returning to the scene. They had only one demo on their account. But no. Nawia is a new band about which virtually nothing is known. There are only lyrics in the booklet. What, where, when, it is also unknown. Only the group's logo, black cover and lyrics. "Do Krwi" is a pure, hateful black metal with pagan themes. Fresh, but strongly and clearly referring to the tradition of the Polish scene of the mid-90s. The compositions were created based on classical standards, but they give us new experiences in this area, somehow new with the past between the lines. The compositions hit us with fury, the riffs cut like a razor, and in the background the sinister but majestic keyboard elements are visible. In terms of lyrics, it is truly in the old climates, that is, paganism and darkness. I like the composition "Przed Świtem w Cień" the most. I was surprised when from the very first moments I heard such clear inspiration from early Emperor and Graveland from such albums as "Carpathian Wolves" or "The Celtic Winter". Amazing atmosphere! The album lasts less than half an hour and we have only four tracks, but what great stuff it is! The material is played with passion and the spirit of black metal. Each minute of it is the essence of this art. I wonder who is behind this project and I hope that they will not stop there only. Listen, because it's damn good!
